The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Freidrich Fritz Ii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fritz Ii moves in looking to clinch but McCaw pushes him off.
Fritz Ii drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fritz Ii scores with a crisp jab that stopped McCaw in his tracks.
McCaw takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

McCaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
