Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Websky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Hardy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mathew Websky's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with an uppercut

so Websky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hardy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Websky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Websky is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Websky trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mathew Websky wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Websky closes the distance and clinches.

Hardy throws a nice looking combination but Websky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hardy tries to circle away but Websky has him pinned against the cage.

Websky manages to pull guard.

Hardy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Websky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hardy, into his guard.
Websky wants to get up but he can't break Hardy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Websky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Websky stays in close to Hardy's body and controls the position.
Websky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hardy's guard.

It looks like Websky is going to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Websky has hold of Hardy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hardy seems comfortable defending it but Websky has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hardy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hardy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Websky couldn't care less - he's delighted!
