The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaney just misses with a punch to the body.
Velka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Velka is looking to clinch but Chaney is avoiding it.
The crowd cheers as Velka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chaney doesn't seem phased though.
Chaney throws a lazy body kick
and Velka counters with a good, hard body kick but Chaney shrugs it off.
Velka fails with an attempt to clinch.

Velka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chaney, pushing him back against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Chaney's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Chaney has had enough of the clinch but Velka keeps him there for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chaney closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Velka throws a leg kick which misses Chaney's front leg but catches the back leg as Chaney tries to avoid it.

A nice inside leg kick there by Velka. That's going to slow Chaney down.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Velka moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Chaney! Velka continues to tee off on Chaney, landing with a left and a right! Velka connects with a right hand that leaves Chaney sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Velka!
