The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gold on his heels. He'll look to pass Gold's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gold is trying to keep White in close.
White wants to stand but Gold is controlling his posture from full guard.
White has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gold looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but White is defending well. Gold quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! White has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gold celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
