Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Teale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Teale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Teale or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilson which made him look bad.
Wilson misses with a takedown attempt - Teale sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wilson tries to clinch up but Teale circles away and keeps his distance.
Teale tries a head kick but it misses.
Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Teale swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wilson tries to clinch up
and Teale counters with a good, hard body kick but Wilson shrugs it off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Teale is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Teale is trying to drag Wilson to the mat but Wilson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wilson is stalling here.

Teale pulls guard.
Teale wants to stand and escape but Wilson is having none of it.
Wilson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Teale pulls Wilson in close to prevent any damage.
Teale keeping full guard, as Wilson tries to pass.

Wilson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Teale is trying to keep Wilson in close.

Teale has his foot on Wilson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilson works his way back into a safe position though.
Wilson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wilson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Teale is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Danny Wilson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Teale has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wilson tries to pull guard but Teale holds him up against the cage and eventually Wilson drops back down to his feet.
Wilson is trying to stall.
Teale slowing the pace effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Teale. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wilson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilson.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Danny Wilson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Teale changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wilson is trying to escape the position but Teale is controlling the position.
Teale with the ground and pound but Wilson regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Teale is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Teale throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wilson wants to control but Teale is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wilson tries to roll over but Teale keeps him under control.
Wilson is staying active underneath Teale, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wilson tries to kick Teale off but Teale keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Teale is keen to just control but Wilson is a slippery customer.

Dave Teale has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Wilson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Teale shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Teale keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilson.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Teale enables Wilson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Teale manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Teale tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Teale is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilson is controlling him.

Wilson wants to control from the top but Teale keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Danny Wilson.
Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wilson closes the distance and clinches.

Wilson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Teale is trying to keep an underhook but Wilson manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilson wants to take a breather but Teale is having none of it.

Teale gets full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Teale is on top in guard.

Wilson is looking for a triangle but Teale pushes his legs off easily.
Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet.
Teale slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wilson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Danny Wilson has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Teale wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
Teale stands and throws Wilson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Teale working the ground and pound but Wilson is defending the strikes.
A lull in the action here.
Wilson is looking for a sweep.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Teale wants to control but Wilson is keeping him busy.
Wilson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dave Teale will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Wilson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Teale counters with a solid body kick.

Wilson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Teale's guard.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Teale swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Teale wants to stand but Wilson is controlling the position.
Teale lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wilson!

Wilson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Teale.
Wilson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Teale swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wilson is now in Teale's guard. A big mistake from Teale there, giving up the dominant position!

Teale looking for a sweep. Not yet Teale, not yet.
Wilson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Teale is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wilson controls from within his opponent's guard.

Wilson gets to his feet - Teale follows without any prompting.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wilson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dave Teale is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Teale scores with a takedown into Wilson's guard.

Wilson wants to stand up but Teale is controlling him.
Wilson is controlling Teale's posture.
Teale wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dave Teale.

Teale gets a double leg takedown into Wilson's guard.
Teale won't allow Wilson to sweep him here.
Wilson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Teale advances position into side control!

Teale tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Teale has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wilson is looking to reverse the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Teale has control of an arm but Wilson manages to advance to Teale's back!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dave Teale.
I think Teale has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
