Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Laking Kusgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KT Turnstile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KT Turnstile has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Laking Kusgan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Laking Kusgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kusgan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Turnstile struggling a bit here.

Kusgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turnstile knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Turnstile tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kusgan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kusgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kusgan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Turnstile's legs.
Kusgan is looking to take a break and control but Turnstile is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Turnstile takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Turnstile is looking to regain half guard here but Kusgan keeps moving and retains side control.

Kusgan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kusgan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kusgan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turnstile has escaped the position, nice work there.
Turnstile tries to bench press Kusgan off him but Kusgan keeps the position.

Kusgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turnstile knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kusgan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turnstile does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kusgan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turnstile is just riding it out for now. Kusgan eventually gives up the hold.

Turnstile is trying to maintain the position but Kusgan is very close to passing his half guard.

Kusgan winds up and cracks Turnstile with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kusgan wants to work for an arm triangle but Turnstile is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Laking Kusgan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Turnstile takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turnstile.
Laking Kusgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Turnstile throws a leg kick but Kusgan checks it.

KT Turnstile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Turnstile. That's going to slow Kusgan down.
Kusgan ducks under a wild hook from Turnstile.
Turnstile connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Turnstile connects with a solid leg kick.
Turnstile fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kusgan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Turnstile shoots for a double leg takedown but Kusgan sprawls well. He's pushed Turnstile's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laking Kusgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KT Turnstile.
Turnstile is looking to land body kicks.
Kusgan blocks a leg kick.

Kusgan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Turnstile keeping moving, preventing Kusgan from controlling successfully.
Turnstile really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kusgan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kusgan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kusgan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Turnstile is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kusgan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Laking Kusgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kusgan trying to control the position from guard on top but Turnstile is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Turnstile trying to keep a closed guard but Kusgan is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Turnstile fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Turnstile dives in and grabs Kusgan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kusgan pushes down on Turnstile's head and hops out.

Turnstile chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Good leg kick by Turnstile there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Turnstile is breathing heavily.
Kusgan walks into a straight right hand from Turnstile.
Turnstile takes a swing at Kusgan's ribcage but misses.

Kusgan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Turnstile was covering up waiting for the punch and Kusgan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Turnstile is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kusgan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Laking Kusgan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kusgan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Turnstile is looking to control Kusgan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Turnstile avoid being mounted?
Kusgan is keen to just control but Turnstile is a slippery customer.

Kusgan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Turnstile defend it? Kusgan steps over the head and cranks it - Turnstile is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kusgan!

Laking Kusgan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
