Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizzy Kock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kock comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 45 from Shinedown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rizzy Kock!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kock keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice takedown defense from Grey. No joy for Kock on that attempt.
Grey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kock.
Kock stuffs the takedown attempt from Grey. Grey gets slowly back to his feet.
Kock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jon Grey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rizzy Kock.

Kock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Grey is working hard here to advance position.
Kock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Grey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kock's guard.

Grey is trying to work for a kimura but Kock is defending well.

Grey wants to work for an arm triangle but Kock is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Grey is looking for a kimura but Kock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grey to get the leverage.
Grey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kock regains full guard. Nicely done.
Grey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kock is keeping the position for now.
Kock controls Grey momentarily but Grey frees himself.

Grey postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kock is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grey, into his guard.

Grey looking for a guillotine here but Kock defends easily.

Kock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Grey is tightening it up a little... Kock has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kock reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kock taps out! Nice BJJ there by Grey!
