Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Sobchak !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew George!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George throws a hook but Sobchak avoids it easily.
George throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
George throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Jeff Sobchak has been cut.
George jabbing away but nothing is landing.
George connects with a body shot that sends Sobchak 's belly button to the back.

Sobchak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in George's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sobchak stays in close to George's body and controls the position.
George wants to stand up but Sobchak is controlling him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sobchak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sobchak wants to control from the top but George keeps moving.
Sobchak throwing strikes but missing.
Sobchak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sobchak is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
George clobbers Sobchak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
George connects with a body shot that sends Sobchak 's belly button to the back.
George scores with a punch to the head.

Sobchak is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sobchak glances at the clock... BAM! George nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Sobchak crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Sobchak is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
