Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe cracks Powers with a big right hand and Powers goes down!


Powers is rocked!


It looks like Kenny Powers has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Powers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doe postures up.
Powers seems to have got his legs back now.
Powers is really struggling to control Doe but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Doe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Doe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Powers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Powers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Powers working for a triangle but Doe defends it easily.
Powers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Doe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Powers looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Doe passes into half guard.
Doe content to control rather than advance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Powers is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A punch combination from Powers misses.
Powers could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Doe misses with a two punch combination.
Doe throws a combination. Powers tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Powers connects with a body shot.
Powers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Powers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Doe tries to land a front kick but Powers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Powers moves in looking to clinch but Doe pushes him off.
Doe connects with a single shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doe throws a predictable looking body shot
and Powers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Doe thinking.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Powers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Doe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Powers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Powers getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Powers gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Powers trying to land knees to the body.
Powers jumps guard but Doe stands there with Powers around his waist. Powers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Powers tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doe smiles and moves away.
Nice defenses there by Doe.
Doe lands a nice looking body kick.
Doe closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Doe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Powers.
Powers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Doe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Doe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Powers throws a sloppy head kick and Doe moves out of range easily.

Doe throws a left and a right that both miss

and Powers counters by clinching up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Powers tries to pull guard but Doe won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doe tries to stall but Powers uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Doe managing to block the knees to the body from Powers.
Powers slows down the pace here.
Doe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Powers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Doe struggles to land a body shot inside as Powers controls his hands.
Doe working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Doe misses with a hook from the clinch.

Powers jumps guard but Doe stands there with Powers around his waist. Powers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Doe has a couple of punches blocked by Powers.
Powers blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Powers takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Powers fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Powers pulls guard.
Powers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Doe controls the pace.
Powers keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Doe lands with an overhand left.
Powers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Powers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Powers tries a head kick but it misses.
Powers moves into range and connects with a jab.
Doe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Powers throws a shot from downtown. Doe moves away and avoids it.
Good shot there by Doe.
Powers tries to clinch up.
A combination from Powers does no damage.
Powers moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kenny Powers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Doe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Powers counters with a stiff right hand.


Doe is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe tries to bum rush Powers with a series of wild strikes but Powers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Doe slips a straight right by Powers.

Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Doe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Powers dodges the punch combination from Doe.
Powers seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Doe shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Powers is backing up but Doe catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Powers covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Doe Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Doe!
