The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casados with a lazy takedown attempt
and Laippela counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Laippela misses the shot to the body.
Casados throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Casados pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Laippela back to the cage. Casados follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Laippela thows a left - swing and a miss!
Laippela misses with a looping left.
Laippela slips a jab and a cross from Casados.
Casados fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Laippela throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ismo Laippela is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Casados closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Casados has hold of Laippela's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Laippela seems comfortable defending it but Casados has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Laippela is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Laippela is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Casados couldn't care less - he's delighted!
