And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Damage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damage clinches.

Damage jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Gracie tries for a kimura but Damage is defending well.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but Damage denies him.
Gracie trying to control the action but Damage is working from the bottom.

Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gracie works to advance to full mount. Damage defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Damage is trying to escape the mount.
Gracie moves to the back position.
Damage tries to escape the position.
Damage trying to control the hands but Gracie breaks the grip.
Damage covering up well under a series of strikes from Gracie.

Gracie is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Gracie wants to control the position but Damage frees himself and scrambles - Gracie manages to regain control in side control.
You can see the frustration on Damage's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie tries to advance to mount but Damage denies him.
Gracie passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Damage!
Damage tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damage reaches up and holds on to Gracie to control the position.
Gracie trying to control but Damage is having none of it.
Gracie is really struggling to control Damage but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Damage is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Damage is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.
Gracie avoids the attempt from Damage to control.
Damage is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie controlling the position easily from mount.

Gracie misses with a head shot.
Gracie trying to control but Damage is having none of it.
Damage wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Damage because Gracie loaded up on that one.
Damage has given up his back here.
Gracie somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie is looking to control Damage but Damage is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Gracie is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Damage has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damage scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Rener Gracie has been cut.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Damage holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Damage has Gracie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gracie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Damage stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Damage has him pressed against the cage.

Damage's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gracie jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Damage tries to clinch up.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whack! Damage lands a heavy head kick that drops Gracie. The ref tackles Damage to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gracie was done.
