Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Sigbjornsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigbjornsson has chosen Greta Salóme & Jónsi....Never Forget as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunnar Sigbjornsson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny slaps away a takedown attempt from Sigbjornsson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sigbjornsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sigbjornsson thows a huge punch but Kenny dodges it nicely.

Sigbjornsson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kenny is just riding it out for now. Sigbjornsson eventually gives up the hold.
Sigbjornsson is nestled in close to Kenny, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kenny is trying to stand back up but Sigbjornsson is controlling him

Sigbjornsson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kenny sees it coming and defends easily.

Sigbjornsson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kenny's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kenny wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Sigbjornsson wants to control but Kenny is keeping him busy.
The ground and pound from Sigbjornsson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Sigbjornsson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kenny knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sigbjornsson is working to tighten is grip on Kenny's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kenny has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sigbjornsson is really squeezing tight and eventually Kenny passes out! Sigbjornsson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
