Fritz moves in looking to clinch but Mabo pushes him off.
Mabo tries for a takedown but Fritz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mabo defending well as Fritz loads up on a big left hand.
Fritz has managed to clinch.
Mabo blocks an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fritz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fritz lands with a right to the head.
It looks like Babo Mabo has been cut.
Fritz content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Fritz gets through Mabo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Mabo has Fritz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fritz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fritz prevents a takedown attempt there.
Frantz Fritz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Babo Mabo.

Fritz throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mabos head.

Fritz drops Mabo onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Mabo is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Fritz lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Mabo to his knees! Fritz keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

After the fight, Frantz Fritz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
