Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Capone on his heels. He'll look to pass Capone's guard now, I'm sure.

Capone looking for a guillotine here but Li defends easily.

Li is looking to work some ground and pound but Capone has wrist control.

Capone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Capone wants to get back to his feet but Li passes into half guard.

Li is nestled in close to Capone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Li can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Capone is looking to escape.
Li postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Capone looks a forlorn figure.

Capone tries to lock up and control but Li gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Li lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Capone hang on?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee warns Capone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Li can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Capone is looking to escape.
Capone is looking to improve his position but Li isn't that keen on the idea.

Capone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Capone is bucking up trying to escape but Li cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Li with shots to the head and body - Capone looks very uncomfortable down there.
Li takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Li has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Capone's face.

Capone is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Oh Capone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Li! Capone is hurt baaadly! Li is firing away with more strikes - Capone is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
