Gregorovitsj comes into the arena with Pink Panther Theme blaring out of the sound system. McGuire has chosen Johnny Cash sings The Battle Hymn Of The Republic as his entrance music. Mike McGuire is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice inside leg kick there by McGuire. That's going to slow Gregorovitsj down.
McGuire scores with a nice strike.
McGuire misses with a kick to the body.
McGuire fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gregorovitsj checks it well.
Gregorovitsj uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McGuire.
Good leg kick by McGuire there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

McGuire is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gregorovitsj's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Gregorovitsj tries to get to full guard but McGuire has control of the leg.

McGuire drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gregorovitsj dives on top into guard.

McGuire working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gregorovitsj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gregorovitsj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
