The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Byyri gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Volkovv to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Volkovv missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Byyri on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Byyri tries to get out of the position.
Byyri wants to stand but Volkovv is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Volkovv throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Byyri works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Volkovv throws a strike but Byyri rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Volkovv wants to stand and escape but Byyri is having none of it.
Byyri won't allow Volkovv to sweep him here.

Byyri postures up in Volkovv's guard and throws a big left but Volkovv blocks it.

Volkovv utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Volkovv is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Byyri is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Arto Byyri wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Volkovv shoots in but Byyri avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Byyri drops Volkovv with a beautiful combination! Volkovv stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Byyri is looking for the KO!

It looks like Henrick Volkovv has been cut.
Volkovv looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh!!! Byyri has knocked Volkovv down with a huge combo! Byyri steps away and waves a wobbly Volkovv back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Volkovv is rocked!
Volkovv walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Volkovv limp body while Byyri jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
