The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nak is looking to take a break and control but Helmer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nak passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Helmer!
Helmer is squirming around, avoiding Nak's attempts to control the action.
Helmer is trying to escape the mount.
Nak trying to control but Helmer is having none of it.
Helmer regains half guard.
Nak slows the pace down in half guard.
Helmer tries to get to full guard but Nak has control of the leg.
Nak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nak seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nak prevents Helmer from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nak is just content to waste time from the top position. Helmer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Helmer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nak rolls with it to try and escape but Helmer cranks on the arm and Nak is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
