Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorm throws a lazy uppercut
and Ashoka counters with a nice body kick.

Ashoka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ashoka throws an elbow but Dorm slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ashoka landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dorm is looking for a sweep.
Ashoka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ashoka throws a strike aimed at the side of Dorm's head but Dorm avoids it well.

Ashoka decides to stand back up. Ashoka steps back and let's Dorm get back to his feet.
Ashoka lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dorm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dorm shoots in and drives through. Ashoka sprawls well.

Ashoka drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ashoka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ashoka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dorm works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ashoka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ashoka with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dorm is trying to keep Ashoka in close.
Ashoka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ashoka working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Dorm keeping moving, preventing Ashoka from controlling successfully.

Ashoka keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dorm's head.

Ashoka is working Dorm over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dorm is trying to control the position but Ashoka postures up.

Ashoka stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Darrian Ashoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Ashoka has knocked Dorm down with a huge combo! Ashoka steps away and waves a wobbly Dorm back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Dorm has been cut.
Ashoka pushes Dorm away with a front kick.
Dorm looks winded!

Ashoka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ashoka stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dorm to get to his feet.

Dorm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dorm is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ashoka to keep the fight standing.
A hook to the body from Ashoka.

Ashoka wants the takedown. Dorm is fighting it off but Ashoka persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dorm's guard against the cage.
Ashoka lands a couple of digs.
Ashoka postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ashoka throws a big elbow that misses.
Ashoka trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dorm has momentary wrist control but Ashoka slips an elbow through the middle.

That has opened up John Dorm's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ashoka drives through with a takedown into Dorm's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Dorm is rocked!

Ashoka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dorm is still on wobbly legs! Can Ashoka finish him?

Ashoka closes the distance looking for a takedown. Dorm stuffs it but Ashoka still has hold of him. Ashoka picks Dorm up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Ashoka slams Dorm to the floor and that's really hurt Dorm - he doesn't know where he is! Ashoka throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
