Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nebojsa Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nebojsa Lopez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Doe !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nebojsa Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Doe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Doe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopez pinned against the cage. Lopez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lopez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doe manages to avoid it.
Lopez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lopez tries to clinch but Doe moves out of range.

Doe is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lopez's half guard.
Lopez wants to get back to full guard.
Doe takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lopez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doe is working away from the top position though.
Doe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lopez on the ground.

Lopez has hold of Doe 's hands but Doe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Doe tries to stand and escape but Lopez is controlling the position.
Lopez tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control.
Lopez is trying to control but can't.
Doe wants to stand up but Lopez is controlling the position.

Doe throwing shots but Lopez is blocking nicely.
Doe lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Doe performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Doe with the ground and pound but Lopez uses the opportunity to regain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Doe is in close to Lopez's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Doe stands and steps away. Lopez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lopez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doe defends it nicely.

Lopez tries to close the distance and clinch but Doe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Doe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lopez is trying to defend but Doe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Doe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lopez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Doe .
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lopez wants to get back to his feet.

Still in half guard, Doe seems content to control.
Lopez wants to get back to full guard.
Doe winds up and cracks Lopez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Doe lands a nice short elbow.

Lopez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doe pulls his head out easily.
Lopez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doe scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Doe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lopez is just riding it out for now. Doe eventually gives up the hold.
Lopez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doe scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Doe dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Lopez moves into the clinch successfully.
Lopez tries to circle away but Doe has him pinned against the cage.
Lopez presses Doe against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Doe gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Doe is thwarting Lopez's attempts to control the position.
Doe trying to mount his opponent but Lopez defends it.
Lopez wants to get back to full guard.

Doe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lopez defends it well.
Lopez trying to hold on to Doe 's head to control him but Doe postures up.

Doe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lopez has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lopez wants to control but Doe is keeping busy.
Doe is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe prevents Lopez from standing back up.
Lopez is trying to maintain the position but Doe is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lopez pushes Doe off looking to stand but Doe dives back in and keeps control.

Doe tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lopez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Doe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doe swats away the attempt to clinch by Lopez.

Doe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jon Doe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lopez can't do much from the bottom here.
Lopez is trying to get back to half guard.

Doe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lopez, who protects the arm well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lopez tries to bench press Doe off him but Doe keeps the position.
Lopez wants to control but Doe postures up.
Doe trying to control the action but Lopez is working from the bottom.
Doe controls the position.
Doe throwing strikes but Lopez manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Doe tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lopez presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doe is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Lopez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lopez looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Doe is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Doe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lopez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Doe can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


It looks like Jon Doe has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lopez lands a big elbow.
Doe can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nebojsa Lopez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Jon Doe 's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


A jab from Lopez does it's job there.
Doe swinging wildly here.
Lopez throws a sloppy head kick and Doe moves out of range easily.
Lopez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Doe clinches up against the cage.
Lopez is trying to break the clinch but Doe has him pressed against the cage.
Doe looking for a takedown.
A frustrated look appears on Lopez's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lopez breaks the clinch.
Lopez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Doe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lopez.
Doe tries to clinch there but Lopez circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lopez lands with a kick to the temple. Doe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Doe shoots in looking for a takedown but Lopez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Doe 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lopez gets caught napping as Doe dives in and scores a takedown. Lopez manages to retain guard.
Doe throwing strikes from guard but Lopez blocks nicely.
Doe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lopez working for a triangle but Doe defends it easily.
Doe trying to control but Lopez is working from the bottom.
Doe engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Doe is looking to advance position but Lopez has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lopez is landing with some decent strikes but Doe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Doe can't escape the position.
Lopez tries to control but Doe wriggling away.
Doe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Doe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lopez wants to stand but Doe has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Lopez is keen to just control but Doe is a slippery customer.
Lopez prevents Doe from improving his position.
Doe tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lopez has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Lopez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Doe is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doe is trying to escape the mount.
Doe wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nebojsa Lopez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lopez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
