The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Stone.

Howard feints and then cracks Stone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stone down.

and Howard counters with a slapping leg kick.

Howard thuds a left hand into Stone's body.
Both fighters circling a little - Howard finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Howard throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Howard throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stone misses with a takedown attempt

and Howard counters with a takedown into side control.
Stone is breathing heavily.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Howard decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stone to his feet.
Stone tries to move into range but Howard moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Howard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Howard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Aaron Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Howard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Howard moves into range and connects with a jab.
