The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorrila lands the left hand.
Trejo shoots in but Gorrila avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Trejo misses the shot to the body.
Gorrila is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trejo.
Trejo ducks under a wild hook from Gorrila.
Trejo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gorrila.
Trejo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gorrila pinned against the cage. Gorrila gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gorrila keeps Trejo at a distance using the push kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gorrila lands with a nice combination. Trejo backs away looking to recover.

Trejo throws a leg kick that misses.
Gorrila bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Trejo's head.

Trejo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gorrila.
Trejo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Gorrila gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Gorrila with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trejo has had enough of the clinch but Gorrila keeps him there for the moment.
Gorrila lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Trejo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Trejo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gorrila.

Trejo is looking to clinch but Gorrila is avoiding it.
Trejo feints a jab promting Gorrila to slip. Trejo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gorrila slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gorrila cracks Trejo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Trejo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fat Gorrila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Trejo.

Gorrila tries to clinch but Trejo moves out of range.

Trejo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gorrila.

Trejo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gorrila. Gorrila obviously looking to wear him down.
Trejo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gorrila is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Trejo.

Trejo shoots in looking for a takedown. Gorrila tries to sprawl out of it but Trejo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gorrila manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gorrila throws a chopping leg kick but Trejo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Trejo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gorrila.

Trejo is trying to break the clinch but Gorrila is controlling him.

A frustrated look appears on Trejo's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Trejo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Trejo is trying to break free.
Gorrila misses with a knee to the head.

Gorrila tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Gorrila lands a nice uppercut.
Gorrila prevents Trejo from breaking the clinch.

Trejo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Trejo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gorrila circles away quickly and effectively.
Gorrila misses with a kick to the body.
Fat Gorrila is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gorrila scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Trejo doesn't seem bothered though.
Gorrila throws out a loose jab but Trejo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Trejo avoids a punch combination nicely.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gorrila.

Gorrila looks to land a body kick but Trejo moved away.
Trejo lands with a nice combination. Gorrila backs away looking to recover.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gorrila moves away from the strike by Trejo.
Trejo throws a right and a left that Gorrila avoids nicely.
Trejo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gorrila lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Trejo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gorrila, right into the meat.
Trejo looks to land a combination but Gorrila avoids it well.
Good leg kick by Gorrila there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gorrila lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gorrila throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gorrila fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gorrila fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trejo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gorrila as he jumps to the side.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Trejo misses with a few strikes there.

Gorrila throws a leg kick which misses Trejo's front leg but catches the back leg as Trejo tries to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Trejo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gorrila dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Trejo. That did some damage!

Trejo shoots for a takedown but Gorrila saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
