The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ak tries to roll over but Wuzz keeps him under control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wuzz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wuzz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ak tries to buck Wuzz off but Wuzz is having none of it.
Wuzz scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ak to see if he's OK.

Wuzz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sergei Ak's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sergei Ak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
