The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPunchson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Angelos Vangchhia has been cut.
Vangchhia takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McPunchson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vangchhia doesn't manage to clinch there - McPunchson circles away.
McPunchson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vangchhia leaves McPunchson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McPunchson misses with a few strikes there.
Vangchhia delivers a nice body kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vangchhia is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McPunchson to keep the fight standing.

Vangchhia jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McPunchson walks away with a smile on his face. Vangchhia gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vangchhia wants to control but McPunchson postures up.
Vangchhia is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but McPunchson is staying active.
