Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes's entrance music is "Unsettling Differences" by Blue Smock Nancy. A fine choice. Andre Holmes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes tries to clinch but Tank moves away
and Tank counters with a straight right hand.
Holmes darts in trying to clinch
and Tank counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tank misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Holmes fails to land the takedown.
Tank looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Holmes fails with a takedown attempt.
Holmes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tank avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Holmes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tank lands a jab to Holmes's midsection.
Tank will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tank scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Tank drops Holmes with a left and a right! Oh, Holmes is hurt - Tank dives into side control looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tank just content to control the position.
Tank wants to stand but Holmes has his arm trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holmes is trying to improve his position.
Holmes wants to control but Tank postures up.

Tank has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Tank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holmes circles away quickly and effectively.
Holmes misses with a takedown attempt - Tank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tank closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Holmes shoots in looking for a takedown but Tank manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holmes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Holmes fails with the takedown.

Tank drops Holmes with a nice combination! Tank dives into Holmes's guard, looking to finish!

Holmes is rocked!
Holmes is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tank has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Holmes is proving hard to escape from.

Holmes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tank is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Holmes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Holmes working for a triangle but Tank defends it easily.
Tank is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Giant Tank dominated that round.
That's time! Holmes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice jab there from Tank.
Tank throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Holmes crashing down! Holmes tries to stagger back to his feet but Tank just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Holmes asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giant Tank!
After the fight, Giant Tank was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
