Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevens York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin Drascoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). York kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'm not afraid. Drascoe has chosen Pull Me Back To Earth as his entrance music. Stevens York had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drascoe lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
York throws a sloppy head kick and Drascoe moves out of range easily.
Darwin Drascoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drascoe cracks York with a right hand to the side of the head.
York throws a head kick that misses.
Drascoe blocks a head kick by York.
Drascoe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from York. Drascoe does a little dance to reset his feet.
York stuffs the takedown attempt from Drascoe. Drascoe gets slowly back to his feet.

and York counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
York ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Drascoe throws a head kick but York moves out of range.
Drascoe connects with an inside leg kick.

Drascoe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching York on his heels. He'll look to pass York's guard now, I'm sure.
Drascoe is looking to work some ground and pound but York has wrist control.

Drascoe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. York swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drascoe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Drascoe drops back, looking for a kneebar! York looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. York looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from York!
Drascoe gets back to half guard.
York knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drascoe on the ground.

York tries to stand but can't do so whilst Drascoe controls his leg.
York wants to stand up but Drascoe manages to regain full guard.
