The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krstic darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage.
Krstic using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Diaz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Diaz tries to pull guard but Krstic holds him up against the cage and eventually Diaz drops back down to his feet.
Krstic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diaz with a lazy takedown attempt
and Krstic counters with a single leg into guard. Diaz didn't expect that.
Diaz is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Krstic has his hands clasped together but Diaz extends an breaks Krstic's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Diaz.
