The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godbolt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Herald will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Godbolt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Herald tests Godbolt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Herald throws a shot to the body.
Godbolt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Godbolt lands a glancing blow to the side of Herald's head.
Herald connects with a body shot that sends Godbolt's belly button to the back.

and Godbolt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Herald's guard.

Godbolt wants to control from the top but Herald keeps moving.
Godbolt is looking to work some ground and pound but Herald has wrist control.

Herald bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Godbolt's guard.
Herald stands and throws Godbolt's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Herald slows the pace down.
Godbolt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Herald tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Herald looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Godbolt is avoiding damage well.
Godbolt tries to bench press Herald off him but Herald keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Herald just content to control the position.

Herald tries to escape but Godbolt has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Herald breaks Godbolt's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Herald is stalling here. Godbolt is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Herald seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Godbolt has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Godbolt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Godbolt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Herald has escaped the position, nice work there.
Herald can't do much from the bottom here.

Herald wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Godbolt has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Herald's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Herald is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Godbolt!
