Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and So Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza tries to clinch up.
Nasty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Souza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nasty's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nasty can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nasty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Souza lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

A jab from Nasty finds it's way through Souza's defenses.
Souza gets caught flat footed, as Nasty shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Souza wants to sweep here but Nasty controlling him for the moment.

Nasty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nasty is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Souza's half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nasty pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nasty is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Souza is just riding it out for now. Nasty eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Victor Souza.
Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Nasty, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes Nasty against the cage but Nasty circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

OK we're going to have a standup here. So Nasty hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nasty drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

So Nasty showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nasty is taking a breather. Souza says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Nasty tries to pass to full mount but Souza defends it.

Nasty takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Souza makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Souza.

Nasty looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Souza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nasty stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Souza to get to his feet.
Nasty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Victor Souza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
So Nasty is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Nasty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
