Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gunna Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Loblaw!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loblaw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gunna Dee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Loblaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Loblaw as he jumps to the side.
Loblaw throws a leg kick but Dee checks it.
Loblaw jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dee fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunna Dee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dee takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dee throws a leg kick
and Loblaw counters with an outside leg kick.

Dee looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dee controls from within his opponent's guard.
Loblaw working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loblaw looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Loblaw not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Loblaw was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Loblaw throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Loblaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Dee. Dee gets slowly back to his feet.
Loblaw lands a slapping body shot.
Loblaw misses with a straight left.
Bob Loblaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Loblaw pinned against the cage. Loblaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dee is breathing heavily.
Dee misses with a takedown
and Loblaw counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dee's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Loblaw connects with a body shot.

A big head kick from Loblaw and Dee is sent sprawling to the canvas!


Dee is rocked!


It looks like Gunna Dee has been cut.
Loblaw loads up on a big left hand. Dee felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Loblaw looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Dee can't hide his disappointment, as Loblaw celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Loblaw!
