The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slade clinches up against the cage.
Slade displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gymhaarlem up against the cage.
Gymhaarlem using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Slade has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gymhaarlem tries to break free but Slade pushes him back against the cage.
Slade gets through Gymhaarlem's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Slade keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gymhaarlem's efforts to push away.
Slade stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Slade misses with some punches.
Gymhaarlem blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slade lands with a short shot to the head.

Gymhaarlem is trying to push Slade away but Slade has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Gymhaarlem stalling in the clinch but Slade improves position.
Gymhaarlem misses with a knee strike.

Slade is pushing Gymhaarlem up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Slade lands with a short shot to the head.
Gymhaarlem wants to break the clinch but can't.

Gymhaarlem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A low kick from Gymhaarlem misses
and Slade counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Slade throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Slade will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gymhaarlem up against the cage.
Slade lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Gymhaarlem blocking some punches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Slade.
Slade lands a right hand.
Slade dips a shoulder and cracks Gymhaarlem with a mighty uppercut! Gymhaarlem falls back against the cage and Slade unloads with a barrage of strikes! Gymhaarlem is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Slade screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
