Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Rothstien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothstien scores with a jab. Webb acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Webb wants to clinch.
Rothstien tries to clinch but Webb is having none of it.

Rothstien moves into the clinch successfully.
Webb wants a takedown.
Rothstien wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Webb has him pressed against the cage.
Webb has Rothstien pushed against the cage.
Webb lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rothstien.
Webb jumps guard but Rothstien stands there with Webb around his waist. Webb gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rothstien wants to break the clinch but can't.
Webb lands a hook that snaps the head of Rothstien backwards.
Rothstien tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Webb has hold of one of Rothstien's legs. Rothstien is fighting the takedown attempt but Webb gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Webb wants to control from the top but Rothstien keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Webb is fighting to break Rothstien's control of his arms but Rothstien is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Rothstien controls Webb momentarily but Webb frees himself.
Webb trying to control the position from guard on top but Rothstien is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Webb content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Webb tries to free his leg and advance position but Rothstien is retaining full guard.

Rothstien tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Webb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rothstien manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Webb misses with a body shot.
Webb showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rothstien.
Webb lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Webb.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rothstien takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Webb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rothstien paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Webb avoids the head kick by Rothstien.
Rothstien shoots in for a takedown but Webb shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rothstien shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Webb sprawls well. Webb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rothstien gets slowly back to his feet.
Webb cracks the inside of Rothstien's front leg.

Rothstien closes the distance and clinches up with Webb, looking for a takedown. Rothstien pushes Webb against the cage but Webb circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ty Webb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Rothstien.
Webb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Webb stuffs the takedown attempt from Rothstien. Rothstien gets slowly back to his feet.

Webb tries to keep at a distance but Rothstien has taken the fight into the clinch.

Webb decides to pull guard.
Rothstien won't allow Webb to get back to his feet.

Webb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rothstien gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rothstien tries to free his leg and advance position but Webb is retaining full guard.
Webb is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Webb is really struggling to control Rothstien but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Webb tries to land a sweep but no joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ty Webb wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rothstien throws a leg kick that misses.
Rothstien swings away with a body shot that misses
and Webb counters with a one-two to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rothstien has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ty Webb dominated that round.
That's time! Webb's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Webb.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Rothstien tries for a takedown but Webb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Rothstien gets tackled into the cage by Webb. Webb maintains the clinch.
Webb tries a knee to the head but Rothstien blocks it.

Rothstien ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rothstien no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Webb wants to control from the top but Rothstien keeps moving.
Rothstien has momentary wrist control but Webb slips an elbow through the middle.
Webb postures up.

Rothstien has his foot on Webb's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Webb works his way back into a safe position though.

Rothstien has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Webb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Webb working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Webb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rothstien has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Webb has managed to get both his arms back between Rothstien's legs - danger averted.
Rothstien is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Rothstien looking for a guillotine here but Webb defends easily.
Webb trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Webb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Webb trying to control but Rothstien is working from the bottom.
Webb is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rothstien is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ty Webb wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rothstien takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rothstien blocks a low kick nicely.
Rothstien fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rothstien closes the distance and clinches.

Rothstien tries to pull guard but Webb forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Webb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Webb darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Rothstien is rocked!
Webb throws a quick head kick that knocks Rothstien silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Webb is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
