Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Moxson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Bautista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moxson comes to the cage accompanied by Sail by Awolnation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista stuffs the takedown attempt from Moxson. Moxson gets slowly back to his feet.
Moxson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bautista throws out the jab.
Moxson dives in for a single leg takedown but Bautista sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bautista escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bautista scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bautista catches Moxson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Moxson walks into a stiff left hand from Bautista .
Moxson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Moxson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bautista is fending him off so far but Moxson persists. Nope, Bautista circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Moxson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moxson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moxson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bautista sees it coming and defends easily.
Bautista really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moxson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bautista wants to stand back up but Moxson manages to pass into side control.

Moxson tries for a kimura but Bautista is defending well.

Moxson swings around for an armbar but Bautista sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Moxson's guard.
Moxson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bautista 's guard.
Moxson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Moxson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bautista is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moxson, into his guard.

Moxson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bautista doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moxson is tightening it up a little... Bautista has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bautista reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bautista taps out! Nice BJJ there by Moxson!
