PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

George is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carver's half guard.
George is looking to take a break and control but Carver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
George will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
George seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Carver manages to get to full guard.
George with a flurry of punches that miss.
George is looking to stand up but Carver won't let him.
George really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carver wants to stand up but George is controlling him.

George looking to sit in guard and control but Carver gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Carver seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Carver has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

George wants to control but Carver passes easily into half guard.
Carver is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for George!
Carver is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. George can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
