The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Love sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riggs somewhat.

Riggs gets a takedown into half guard.
Well, if Riggs is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Riggs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riggs prevents Love from getting back to his feet.

Love is looking to sinch up a triangle. Riggs throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Love's body to avoid the submission. Love has instead reached around Riggs's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Love arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
