Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve McQueen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve McQueen!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson tries to clinch but McQueen moves out of range.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McQueen as he avoids it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Robinson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Robinson looking to slow down the pace here.

Robinson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McQueen uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McQueen tries to free his leg and advance position but Robinson is retaining full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Steve McQueen was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Robinson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McQueen, pushing him back against the cage.
Robinson pushes off an throws an elbow but McQueen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Robinson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Robinson pulls McQueen in close to his closed guard and prevents McQueen from doing any damage or advancing position.

McQueen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
McQueen works Robinson's body with a nice hook.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McQueen as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robinson is breathing heavily.

McQueen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McQueen showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McQueen seems to be working for a kimura but Robinson defends the submission attempt.

McQueen is trying to control the action in half guard but Robinson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

McQueen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Robinson has managed to free his arm - good work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Robinson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McQueen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



McQueen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Robinson quickly recovers to half guard.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for McQueen. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

McQueen throws a series of punches but Robinson avoids them all with ease.

McQueen throws an elbow that misses. Robinson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McQueen's guard. Nice move by Robinson!

Robinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McQueen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robinson.

Robinson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McQueen tries to bench press Robinson off him but Robinson keeps the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Robinson will probably get the nod.

McQueen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robinson to the ground. McQueen is now in Robinson's guard.
McQueen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

McQueen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Robinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McQueen is working away from the top position though.

McQueen is looking to take a break and control but Robinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Robinson wants to improve his position but McQueen is controlling well.
McQueen is keen to just control but Robinson is a slippery customer.
