The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Thomas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Thomas blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice body punch from Wise.
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wise moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wise lands with a nice body punch.
Thomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wise.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Wise dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wise fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thomas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wise thuds his right hand into Thomas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wise.
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wise takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wise works the jab nicely.

Thomas is rocked!
Thomas gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Wise gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
