Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zajdler dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Zajdler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zajdler wants it to stay on the feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zajdler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Yuki Saburou has been cut.
Saburou bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Saburou is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zajdler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Saburou shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zajdler defends it nicely.
Piotr Zajdler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuki Saburou.
Zajdler fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zajdler works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Saburou clinches with his opponent.
Zajdler throws a head punch that misses.
Saburou blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Zajdler struggles to land a body shot inside as Saburou controls his hands.
Saburou keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zajdler's efforts to push away.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Zajdler as Saburou tries to tie him up.
Saburou is working for takedown but Zajdler is calmly controlling the position for now.
Zajdler wants to break the clinch but can't.
Zajdler prevents the takedown attempt.
Zajdler has a couple of punches blocked by Saburou.
Saburou has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zajdler after a bit of a struggle.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Zajdler.
Saburou looks winded!
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Saburou tries to pull guard but Zajdler holds him up against the cage and eventually Saburou drops back down to his feet.
Zajdler lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Zajdler is looking to break free of the clinch but Saburou has double underhooks.
Zajdler tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Saburou's elbow.
Saburou tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zajdler misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice left hand lands by Zajdler.
Zajdler tries to throw a body punch but Saburou avoids it by throwing Zajdler back against the cage.
Zajdler can't break the clinch.
Zajdler lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Zajdler is trying to force a seperation but Saburou has the dominant position.
Saburou goes for a takedown attempt but Zajdler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Zajdler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zajdler stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zajdler drops Saburou with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Saburou looks back up at him and smiles so Zajdler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Saburou is rocked!
Saburou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zajdler pinned against the cage. Zajdler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Saburou is still on wobbly legs! Can Zajdler finish him?
Zajdler fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Saburou square on the jaw! Damn, Saburou is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Piotr Zajdler!
