Saunders comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matice Jr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Matice Jr swings for the body but Saunders moves out of range.
Saunders swings for the body but Matice Jr moves out of range.
Saunders stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saunders wants it to stay on the feet.
Matice Jr shoots in for a takedown but Saunders shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Saunders shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Matice Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Saunders postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Matice Jr in real trouble here! The ref calls for Matice Jr to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

A relieved looking Joe Saunders thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
