Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Travis Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds comes to the cage accompanied by The Animals - House of The Rising Sun. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kickstart kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Royce Gracie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gracie is looking to clinch but Reynolds is avoiding it.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Reynolds.
Gracie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reynolds at a distance.
Gracie swings for the body but Reynolds moves out of range.

Reynolds throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reynolds.

Reynolds throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reynolds's head backwards.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Reynolds swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reynolds throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Reynolds uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Reynolds moves out of range of the strikes.
Travis Reynolds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Reynolds fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Reynolds is just out of range.

Reynolds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gracie shoots in but Reynolds avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Reynolds walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reynolds.

Gracie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reynolds moves away from the strike by Gracie.
Reynolds slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gracie looks winded!
Reynolds lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gracie will feel that in the morning.
Reynolds lands with a kick to the ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Travis Reynolds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Gracie.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Gracie's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Reynolds throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Reynolds lands with a shot to the body.
Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Reynolds throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Gracie is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
