Manhoef has chosen Killing In The Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Manhoef. Those never looked like landing.
Manhoef misses with a straight right.
Manhoef swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Manhoef throws a solid leg kick but Patrick takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Manhoef.
Manhoef misses with a double jab.
Patrick slips a jab and a cross from Manhoef.
Manhoef scores with a leg kick.
Manhoef misses with a low kick.
Patrick throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Patrick throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Manhoef swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Manhoef scores with a spinning back kick!

Manhoef lands a left and a right that send Patrick crashing to the mat, dazed. Manhoef thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Patrick is rocked!

It looks like Jean Claude Patrick has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Patrick chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Manhoef can pounce on him.
Manhoef throws a series of punches but Patrick avoids them all with ease.
Manhoef drops Patrick with a straight right hand, right on the button! Manhoef follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
