Fierro comes to the cage accompanied by Punkrocker. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johehanson tries to clinch but Fierro moves out of range.
Fierro throws a body punch but Johehanson moves out of range.

Johehanson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Johehanson lands a high kick!

It looks like Jonnie Fierro has been cut.
Johehanson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fierro throws a lazy right hand but Johehanson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fierro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johehanson moves away.
Johehanson tries for a takedown but Fierro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fierro fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johehanson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Johehanson checks the leg kick.
Johehanson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fierro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johehanson circles away quickly and effectively.
Fierro misses with an uppercut

and Johehanson counters with a nice right hand that sends Fierro toppling to the canvas! Fierro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Johehanson finish him?!

Fierro misses with a hook. Johehanson ducked under it nicely.
Fierro moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The fighters circling - Fierro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fierro connects with a single shot there.

Johehanson instigates a clinch.
Fierro avoids the elbow strike from Johehanson, against the cage.

Johehanson tries to throw a body punch but Fierro avoids it by throwing Johehanson back against the cage.
Fierro wants to break the clinch but can't.

Fierro misses with a low kick as Johehanson jumps back.

Johehanson lands a big head kick that sends Fierro tumbling to the mat! Johehanson takes a step backwards and waves Fierro back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jonnie Fierro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fierro swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johehanson counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
