Brown has chosen Invincible by Machine Gun Kelly as his entrance music. Ricky Spanish could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tommy Brown's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spanish throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spanish as he jumps to the side.

Brown has managed to clinch.

Brown manages to break the clinch.

Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Brown postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Spanish to stand up.
Brown fails with the takedown.
Brown scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Spanish knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Tommy Brown has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Brown dives in and grabs Spanish's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spanish pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
Ricky Spanish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Brown.
Spanish swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Spanish.

Brown has closed the distance and engaged Spanish in a clinch.

Brown jumps guard and drags Spanish to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Spanish looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Spanish wants to break free but Brown has control.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown takes a jab right on the kisser.

Brown gets a double leg takedown into Spanish's guard.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Brown is standing up over Spanish. Spanish looks to escape but Brown dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown has hold of Spanish's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Spanish seems comfortable defending it but Brown has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Spanish is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Spanish is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Brown couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A relieved looking Tommy Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
