Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Njord Freyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freyr's entrance music is Twilight of the Thunder God. A fine choice. Tripper is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Disturbed - Land Of Confusion. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Njord Freyr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Tripper!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freyr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Freyr misses with a low kick.
Freyr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tripper swings for the body but Freyr moves out of range.
Tripper fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Freyr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tripper looks to throw the jab but Freyr is out of range.
Freyr blocks the body kick.
Freyr throws a push kick but Tripper slaps the foot to one side.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tripper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Freyr - the referee stops the clock and Tripper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Freyr. Tripper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Tripper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freyr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tripper has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Freyr finds it's way round the side to connect with Tripper's head.
Tripper lands a nice looking body kick.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tripper, right into the meat.

Tripper lands with a thumping leg kick.

It looks like Njord Freyr has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tripper, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Freyr takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tripper connects with a single shot there.
Freyr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Tripper feints and as Freyr raises his hands in defense, Tripper changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tripper wants to pass the guard but Freyr is keeping the position.
Tripper pushing down on Freyr's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Tripper lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Tripper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freyr keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freyr is looking for a sweep. Tripper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Freyr has his hands clasped together around Tripper's back. He's all about the action.
Tripper is trying to control the action in half guard but Freyr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Freyr wants to improve his position but Tripper is controlling well.
Tripper tries to pass to full mount but Freyr defends it.
Freyr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Freyr.

Tripper sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Freyr's guard.
Freyr is concentrating on defense, preventing Tripper from advancing position.
Tripper works his way into full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tripper avoids the attempt from Freyr to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A low kick from Freyr misses
and Freyr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Freyr takes one to the chin there.
Freyr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tripper on the side of the head.
Tripper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Freyr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tripper scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tripper pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Freyr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Freyr cracks Tripper with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A jab from Freyr does it's job there.
Tripper blocks a leg kick.
Freyr lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Freyr lands a head kick. Tripper smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Freyr lands a big uppercut and Tripper crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tripper looks OK. Freyr waves Tripper back to his feet!

Tripper is rocked!
Freyr scores with a hook to the body. Tripper takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tripper is still on wobbly legs! Can Freyr finish him?
Freyr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tripper throws a jab but it's blocked by Freyr.
Njord Freyr is winning the standup battle so far.
Tripper is breathing heavily.
Tripper tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Freyr measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Tripper! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
