Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bagong Buhay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Jab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Jab will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buhay misses with a body punch
and Jab counters with a one-two to the body.
Buhay fails with the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Jab as Buhay shoots in.

Buhay fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jab to the ground. Buhay is now in Jab's guard.
Buhay is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Buhay thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Buhay prevents Jab from getting back to his feet.
Jab is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buhay wants to pass the guard but Jab is keeping the position.

Jab wants to get back to his feet but Buhay is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Buhay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buhay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jab wants to stand but Buhay is controlling the position.
Jab really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buhay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Buhay drops back looking for a leg! Jab is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jab manages to kick Buhay off! Buhay jumps back into Jab's guard.

Jab wants to stand and escape but Buhay is having none of it.

Buhay is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jab is just riding it out for now. Buhay eventually gives up the hold.
Buhay works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buhay is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jab can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Buhay has hold of Jab's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jab manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jab is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Buhay can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jab is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buhay swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
