The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kent sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gein somewhat.

Kent throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gein sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gein scores with a hook to the body. Kent takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gein fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kent avoids it really well and circles away.
Kent throws a shot from downtown. Gein moves away and avoids it.
Gein moves out of range as Kent strikes.

Kent scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gein feints a jab promting Kent to slip. Gein then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kent slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Peter Kent has been cut.
Kent ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gein will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gein shoots in looking for a takedown. Kent tries to sprawl out of it but Gein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peter Kent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kent misses with a series of wild punches.
Kent avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kent rushes Gein and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gein swings wildly with an uppercut but Kent uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gein lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kent throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kent uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gein.
Kent comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Kent as Gein shoots in.
Gein shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kent defends it nicely.

Kent is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gein.

Gein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
