Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kuula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggie Lyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuula's entrance music is Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil. A fine choice. Biggie Lyon acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuula rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lyon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lyon clinches up against the cage.
Kuula is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lyon to keep the fight standing.
Kuula tries for a takedown but Lyon manages to get underhooks.

Lyon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kuula to see if he's OK.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lyon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Lyon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kuula wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kuula thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kuula stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kuula gets caught flat footed, as Lyon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lyon scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lyon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lyon lands a couple of digs.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lyon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kuula was covering up waiting for the punch and Lyon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lyon is working Kuula over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
