The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toral will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Toral shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mendes as he jumps to the side.

Toral closes the distance and clinches up with Mendes, looking for a takedown. Toral pushes Mendes against the cage but Mendes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Toral with that takedown attempt.

Oh Toral is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mendes cracks Toral with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Toral tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mendes pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Toral is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
