The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firahzi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

It looks like Jamison Jaeger has been cut.

Firahzi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jaeger's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Firahzi wants to free his trapped foot but Jaeger is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jaeger could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Firahzi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jaeger defends it well.
