Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mitrione (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dr. FeelGood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mitrione wants to control from the top but Griffin keeps moving.

Mitrione is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mitrione throws a strike but Griffin avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mitrione accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mitrione has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mitrione drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mitrione jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
