Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Dravinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saul Tigh!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dravinski misses with a series of wild punches.
Tigh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dravinski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A head kick from Dravinski lands but Tigh takes it in his stride.


It looks like Saul Tigh has been cut.
Dravinski thows a body shot but no joy.
Dravinski throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tigh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dravinski throws a big shot that misses.
Dravinski is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dravinski throws a head kick but Tigh moves out of range.

Tigh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dravinski makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tigh really felt that one!

Tigh has Dravinski pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tigh pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dravinski tumbling to the mat - Tigh dives into Dravinski's guard.

Tigh is fighting to break Dravinski's control of his arms but Dravinski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Dravinski will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dravinski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Dravinski counters with a head kick that drops Tigh to the mat! Tigh scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Saul Tigh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dravinski throws a head kick but Tigh moves out of range.

Dravinski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tigh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dravinski tries to throw a body punch but Tigh avoids it by throwing Dravinski back against the cage.
Come on Dravinski - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Tigh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tigh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dravinski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Tigh sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Dravinski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dravinski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tigh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nice straight punches there by Dravinski. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dravinski.

Dravinski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tigh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dravinski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tigh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dravinski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dravinski tries to clinch there but Tigh circles away.
Dravinski feints and then cracks Tigh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tigh down.

Dravinski throws a series of punches but Tigh avoids them all with ease.

Tigh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dravinski!

Tigh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dravinski has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tigh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dravinski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tigh is working away from the top position though.

Tigh looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Dravinski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dravinski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
